Så er årets pladevender-program på plads! Her er en den flok af fantastiske og talenfulde (og nogle gange bare fulde) DJ’s, der kommer til at forkæle dine øregange før- og efter at musikken spiller på scenerne.

TORSDAG: RAFLA & MORTICIA

RAFLA

Rafla (aka Hrafnhildur) er oprindeligt fra Island og bor nu i København efter 23 år i Glasgow, hvor hun bl.a. var resident på det legendariske spillested og bar Nice’n Sleazy i 15 år (2006- 2021) og havde en månedlig rock danseklub i kælderen, The Hot Club, fra 2007-2014.

Hun spiller garage rock, surf, rock’n Roll, exotic instros og shakers på vinyl. Rafla har udover sine Glasgow residencies ( Mono, Saramago, The Squid and the Whale, Stereo og Sleazys) spillet jobs i London, Reykjavík, Santiago de Compostela og sidst på Komet Bar i Hamborg.

MORTICIA

Dj Morticia is based in Malmö Sweden where she runs monthly club night Klubb Beatmaker. Her vinyl selections are rooted in the 50/60s and forward, with a heavy focus on female artists with a raw take on early rocknroll, surf, garage, girl groups, soul and funk. With her partner in crime Dj Undertaker she has played festivals and club nights around Europe and in the US. She loves a real good party night at Mesteren & Laerlingen in Copenhagen where she has been spinning as a regular for many years.

FREDAG: MARYCHERRY (DE) & MADEMOISELLE JEKEL

MARYCHERRY (DE)

Marie aka Marycherry is a Berlin and Paris based Vinyl DJ and Radio host that loves to make people dance all night. Her specialty is 60sGarage&Psych and Yéyé.

She has been Djing over the last 6 years in Europe and Los Angeles such as Garageville in Hamburg, UPclub in Frankfurt, Cosmic Trip and Le Mans Classique in France and many more.

This year she started promoting her own club events in Berlin, called ,,A Certain Kind Presents’’, and all round 60s&70s event with Bands and DJs.

MADEMOISELLE JEKEL

Meet Mademoiselle Jekel who specializes in spinning the grooviest 1960s French garage !
For over 20 years, she has meticulously collected international 60's beat, garage, punk, and Yé-yé records on vinyl.

Her collection is a treasure trove of well-known floor-fillers, rare gems, and quirky tracks from the garage scene. Expect to hear a dazzling mix of distorted garage, mean soul and French fuzz!

As the host of the annual "Fransk Fredag" (French Friday) club night at Sort Kaffe & Vinyl, Mademoiselle Jekel is a regular fixture at Mesteren & Lærlingen, Bird, and Lygtens Kro. She also frequently travels to Paris, bringing her 45's to the coolest French punk bars.

LØRDAG: FLIPSIDE JO (SE) & UFFE LORENZEN

FLIPSIDE JO (SE)

Flipside Jo brings you the wildest 60s garage punk, beat and psych. Resident DJ at Munster Raving Loony Party in Spain and the former Club Flipside in Malmö.

UFFE LORENZEN:

Uffe Lorenzen er kendt fra bands som Baby Woodrose, Spids Nøgenhat og Lydsyn, der alle har spillet på Gutter Island gennem tiden. I år nøjes han dog med at vende vinylsingler fra sin dedikerede samling af amerikansk garagerock, britisk beat, dansk pigtråd, punk, dansktop og pop på 45 omdrejninger.
